About

Fewer, better bird foods

Bluebird Select began in a small UK garden with one nest box and a shed full of half-used sacks. Most of them looked different and behaved the same: cheap grain padding, husk all over the patio, and seed the birds sorted through and left. We wanted a shorter list.

What “Select” means

Select means edited. Five products, each covering a different part of the feeding year, and none of them duplicating another. If a new food does not beat something already on the list, it does not join the list.

How we choose

  • It must solve a real feeding problem — mess, melt, freshness, or insect protein.
  • The ingredient list must be short enough to print in full.
  • It must arrive in a size that makes sense for weekly refills.

How we work

We pack in the UK and ship worldwide. Sacks are dated where freshness matters, and we buy oil-rich seed in shorter runs so it does not sit in a warehouse losing value.

What we will not do

We will not claim awards, lab results or review scores we cannot show you. We will not ship netted suet. And we will not stock forty near-identical blends to look bigger than we are.
