Larder Dried Mealworms — 5kg Case
The core bluebird and softbill food, bought by the case
£149
Oven-dried mealworms sieved to remove dust and broken casings, then packed in five one-kilogram bags so an opened bag stays fresh. Feed dry in a shallow dish or soak briefly in warm water during the nesting weeks.
- Five 1kg resealable bags, not one loose sack
- Sieved twice — less dust at the bottom of the dish
- Feeds insect-eaters: bluebirds, robins, wrens, tits, starlings
- Single ingredient, no fillers, no dyes

Care and use
Keep the bags sealed, dry and out of direct sun. Offer only what the birds clear in a day and rinse the dish weekly.
Questions
Do I need to soak them?
Not usually. Soak for ten minutes in warm water during nesting weeks so parents can carry softer food to chicks.
How much per day?
Start with a small handful in the morning. Adjust to what disappears within a couple of hours.
Will squirrels take them?
They can. A caged tray feeder solves most of it.
