Questions
Why no wheat?
Wheat is cheap bulk that most garden birds push aside. Leaving it out means less waste under the feeder.
Is it safe near a lawn?
Yes. Shelled, kibbled seed does not germinate the way whole seed does.
Suitable for ground feeding?
It is, on a table or tray. Avoid piling it on bare wet soil.
