A shelled blend coated with capsaicin, which mammals taste and birds do not. It keeps squirrels off a feeder they have learned to raid, without netting, traps or a cage that keeps larger birds out too.

The chilli is bound into the oil coat rather than dusted on top, so it does not blow off the tray or wash away in the first shower.

Who it's for

Wear the gloves when filling and keep it away from eyes. Wash hands after handling. Do not feed to pets.
Questions
Is it cruel to squirrels?
No. It tastes unpleasant and they leave; it does not harm them.
Do birds mind the heat?
Birds do not register capsaicin the way mammals do.
Can I feed it on the ground?
Better not — use a feeder or tray so other animals are not exposed.
