Safflower Quiet Feeder — 15kg
The seed pigeons and squirrels tend to leave
£115
Clean white safflower for gardens overrun by pigeons, squirrels or starlings. The bitter shell puts most of them off while finches, tits and dunnocks carry on feeding, so a raided feeder settles down within a week or two.
What makes ours different
Sold as a straight, not hidden inside a mix — so the deterrent actually works instead of being diluted by seed pigeons love.
- Bitter shell — usually ignored by squirrels and pigeons
- Single ingredient, nothing sweet blended in
- Fresh crop, cleaned to remove chaff and stones
- Best for taking pressure off one raided feeder

Care and use

Questions
Will my regulars eat it?
Most do after a few days. Finches, tits and dunnocks take it readily.
Is it squirrel-proof?
No seed is. It is a deterrent, not a guarantee, and works best with a caged feeder.
Can I mix it in?
You can, but blending in sunflower undoes the effect. Feed it straight.
