A coarse mix for birds that feed on the deck: blackbirds, dunnocks, robins, thrushes and pheasants. Cracked maize, pinhead oats, sunflower hearts and a little suet nib, sized so nothing is left behind on the table.

Yes, on a tray. Move the tray every few days so the grass recovers.
